Crafting Music with Passion

Welcome to Liam Makes Noise, where creativity meets expertise. I have been recording and producing for bands and artists in my local scene for around 10 years, helping them get the best out of their songs and demos, turning them into release-ready tracks to be heard around the world via streaming services and radio play.

As a musician myself, I know how hard it can be to find a producer you can trust with your creative vision; that's why I am always open to exploring different ways of working and new ideas.

I often work in the world of Indie and Rock music; however, I have also recorded, produced and written songs for artists across Rap, Pop, Folk and Metal genres. So whatever the project, I'm flexible in helping you find the right sound for your recording or mix.

Whilst studying formally at university for a degree in Creative Music Production & Technology, I was lucky enough to collaborate and expand my skills further into composition for film & TV and music for video games. I'd love to help design the right soundscape, sonic branding or composition for you or a client's next project.

Sound Engineering & Mixing Experience

Streams on music I've worked on

I was lucky enough to work with Liam on my first three tracks. He done an amazing job with the production, as well as playing drums on all three tracks!

He’s a great guy to work with, he’s enthusiastic and has exciting ideas! He listened to what I wanted the tracks to sound like and helped bring them to life.

I've worked with Liam several times over the years and was always very happy with the results. With a fine-tuned ear and a bag full of tricks, he's someone I'd recommend to anyone.

As well as helping out with ideas in the recording room, he did the mixing and mastering for my entire first album. The production has in turn received great feedback from my listeners.

Location & Remote Working

I'm currently based in Canterbury in the county of Kent in the South-East of the UK.

My home studio is easily accessible from Central London via train (a short 2-minute walk from Canterbury East Station or a 15-minute walk from Canterbury West Station).

However, many of my services (such as songwriting, mixing & mastering) can be performed remotely, without the need to travel, and we can arrange an online/virtual call if needed.

If you'd like to book me for studio work, I have contacts with numerous established studios around Kent, which we can hire to suit you. You can find out more information here.
